My husband and I spent 10 days in Iceland in July 2007. Everyone kept asking us, "Why Iceland?" I knew by looking at pictures that the landscapes there were amazing. Seeing it for myself was an awesome experience. Now when someone asks me why I went to Iceland, all I have to do is show my pictures, and they understand.

My Travel Angel

There is a person on VT (who will remain nameless) that helped me more than I can ever say. This person dealt with my daily e-mails and gazillion questions without ever batting an eye. I would not have enjoyed my trip nearly as much without the help of my Travel Angel. Thank you so much! Because of you, my trip to Iceland was amazing (and full of waterfalls!!).

Oh my gosh....what a surprise!!!

My husband surprised me for Christmas with a painting of three of my favorite waterfalls from Iceland painted by an Icelandic painter from Canada. These are actual photos that we took while we were there. I love it! It is stunning!! This is a gift I will treasure forever!

I had well travelled relatives who also said why go to Iceland!I did 1day driving like billio from the ferry at the far east to the plane at the far west and what stunning awesome sights beheld me along the way!Bet u had fun making yr lovely tips here!

Oh wow, you really have been in waterfall heaven here :-)) Fantastic rainbow shots, oh yes, I know exactly what you mean, I also jump for the rainbows everywhere :- Haha, that boat with wheels is cute. And one day, I'll go hiking there :-)

I love raw nature & here you have it all in your Iceland page :) So many beautiful waterfalls & the little purple flower looks surreal! Will return to complete when time allows!
