    • Waianuhea is on the Big Island. It is absolutely beautiful. Our room (Li'oli'o - means "light")was so nice, the decorating is fun and eclectic, and the staff spoil you rotten. The only downside to this place is that it is WAY out of the way. You have to drive very far to get to it. It is located in the mountains, so those of you that want to be on the beach won't want to stay here.

    Unique Qualities: jacuzzi, stunning views (when it isn't cloudy), excellent staff. We ended up having the entire bed and breakfast to ourselves for 3 nights because there weren't any other guests.
