Quiet I live about 10 minutes outside Cha-am - right on the beach in a place called Baan Talay Samran.
It really is beautiful there and some of the villas and condos are available for short term letting.
There is a small restaurant there run by K Moo who is a nice jovial local thai guy -missing a few teeth but really nice guy!
THe swimming pools are great but the beach isnt really. Its nice to take a stroll on but not really good for swimming |
nightlife in cha-am Cha-am is a family destination and is not setup for all night revellers!
There is an Irish bar called Crawfords which is good for food and general craic - as I am IRish I am in there quite a bit!
There is a small soi (lane) that has some pool and hostess bars in the Plaza but this is out of sight mostly.
On the beachfront there is a Thai pub that has live music. Good fun there too. |
Daytime in Cha-am All water sports are available. There is an ATV park nearby. Golf is awesome with 6 great courses within 30 minutes drive - most do pick ups. |
