"Genoa- City of Columbus" Genoa by jubistuta79

Genoa, is a city located at northwest of italy. Train from Milan only took 1.5 hrs and it can cost you 25 euro per trip, depends on train, rate etc. Genoa located near with a sea, and its famous with christopher columbus. Some people say that columbus was born at this city, and you still can visit his small house, located in the city centre.

As mentioned early, you could visit columbus house at this city. There are still some argument either it's correct or not. BY the way, it doesn't bother me to visit this house. This is very small house, and based on old pictures, this house was facing a sea. But now you could not see the sea from here, it's only a modern building. After WWII, there a lot of construction in Genoa, because this city nearly damaged 100% because of war. so, stop the war!!!

Via Garibaldi

Via Garibaldi, is the most beautiful street in Genoa. First time, I wondering why this street can become beautiful street? After I arrived at this street, I could see the buildings were decorated nicely and painted on the wall. You have to look closely, because some painting are almost same like actual build or construction, but it's only a wallpaper! BY the way, you only spend 4 hrs or less to visit this city, except you want to go inside of every church and museum! Its just a same museum with other places.

• Pros:Its a very nice city with sea and mountain.
• Cons:Restaurant only open at 7pm. You could not find any restaurant open before this time! Try spaghetti alla scoglio, its very delicious!
