The world is such a big place, with such a vast array of cultures that noone will ever experience every aspect of it in there lifetime. However, this doesnt mean that you shouldnt try!
Every country in the world has something to offer, whether its history, architecture, landscape, food or just good people.
Travelling allows you to go through and gain experiences and memories that will stick with you forever. Ill never forget the first time I saw the sunrise over Sydney Harbour, or over the Empire State building. Ill also never forget having my ass kicked by the squash preoffesional at Club Rockley in Barbados- despite being confident due to the guy having an artifical leg!
So while there may not be as many countries on here as some people at the moment, the list will rise steadily, and you can rest assured that the memories are still there! |
| | New York What more can you say about this city? It really is an experience that is hard to describe the feeling you get when you walk around this place. The buildings are absolutly breathtaking, the parks are beautful, the shops are fantastic and the people are intersting. |
| | Barbados Now this is the ideal place if you want to sit back, put your feet up and enjoy the sun and the sand. The place is so laid back its on back. If you want to chill and escape for a while, this is one of the best. The whole island is beautiful, with breathtaking views, gorgeous beaches, and lush forests on the island. |
| | Sydney Well, havent been out there for a few years, so this is all a little section is a little out of date! However, heading out there for 3 weeks at the end of February, so should be getting that little problem sorted :). |
Plans for 2007.... As has already been mentioned, I have 3 weeks in Sydney planned for February and March, with an extended stop-over in Hong Kong on the way back.
Also heading out to Amsterdam for the Queens birthday celebrations in April. Thinking about Vegas at some point in the year, and also a few other stops around Europe and Iceland as well :) |
