It´s got a Virgin statue on the top and is a place for celebrating masses. It´s really beautiful as is the view from the city. The zoo is there and also public swimming pools and parks. It is possible to get there by a kind of elevator (funicular) or by a cable car. The price varies depending on what you´re going to visit (the top, the zoo, both, etc.).

Looks very touristy but seems to be a good place to taste local food as Chilean food isn´t very characteristic nor easy to find. I tried this Ceviche (fish with lemon sauce, onion and other stuff I don´t remeber). It doesn´t look too good but it is!

This is about Salvador Allende´s period in Chile´s government, has some very cool stuff about the military coup the ousted him, photos of that time, the repression and his speech on the radio as La Moneda was attacked by the rebels. It has also related art by international artists. It seemed to me unbelievaly empty, I was the only person visiting it when I was there. I think it should be more heralded.
