Crime in Paris and other Paris, France Warning Or Danger Tips

As every large city even Paris has crime.

Pickpockets are active on the RER, the train, specially from the airport of Charles de Gaulle to downtown.
The flea market is "designed" to make pickpocketing easy and these "gangs" can spot victims pretty easy.

But.. there are some areas for example like Barbès where it's better for you not to hand around alone during the night. In these areas, it all depends on the way you behave.

Specially beware of women and children dressed like "homeless" and asking you if you can speak English. If you answer yes they'll show you a card with a story explaining basically that one of the parents are in the hospital somewhere in the world really hill and they are stuck in Paris with no money.
You'll find that specially at the main train and metro stations (Gare du Nord, Châtelet-Les Halles) and also around the main touristic attractions.

Driving in the center of a big busy city as Paris can be really an adventure, people crossing the roads, bikes, motorbikes speeding at your right and left side, cars cutting the line...

This all happens when you drive in Paris, for this reason you need to have 1000 eyes to watch right, left up and down.

Before making a turn, make sure twice that nobody is coming, and always take care of people, other cars, etc...

Now this is really something i would avoid if i was in you.

The Triumphal Arch is located right in the middle of a big road that drives around him.
Imagine a 4 or 5 lines road going in circle, with lot of other roads coming from outside in, there's nothing that makes it clear if you are standing in the line or not, basically it's like jumping inside and just drive with your eyes wide open and get ready for everything.

Really pay attention here, one mistake can cause a mess...

While walking not too late in the night in Pigalle, in the same road as the Moulin Rouge, you can really see how many Strip Clubs there are.

Some of them are pretty discret, but others are just disgusting, people outside are ready to sell their souls just to bring you in, and not just mans, even womans are attracting you and giving you some kind of discount if you accept to enter.

Well to be honest i think like that, if i want to enter a place like that, i don't need someone to push me inside, i just enter, and honestly it bothered me pretty much that there were people trying absolutely to convince me to enter, even one man almost ran after me just to convince me....
