The Tower structure was built between year 1887 and 1889 as entrance for the Exposition Universelle. The structure, made in metal, weighs 7,300 tonnes, and the entire tower is about 10,000 tonnes. Depending ont he ambient, the temperature, the tower top could shift away from the sun by up to 18 cm (this because of thermal expansion of the metal). Just to have an idea, if the 7300 tonnes of the structure in metal were melted down, they would fit the 125 square meter base to a dept of 6 cm. First and second level are accessible through stairways and lifts. Ticket can be pourchased at the south tower base. At the first level the stairs continue up for the east tower and the last level (the third) is only accessible by lift. From both the first or second level, the stairs are open for everybody to ascend or descend, doesn't matter if you pourchased a lift or stairs ticket. The total amount of stairs is 328 to go to the first level and 340 to go to the second level, then 18 steps to the lift platform on the second level.

Disneyland Paris: Disneyland Paris car parking fee

|
Before really entering the Disney Park, there's a parking fee to pay. For cars, it doesn't matter how many people you are inside, the fee is 8 EUR. The main entrance to the parking place seem to be like a big highway toll road with cabins in at the entrance, but don't be scared about the line of cars you can be into, the line goes forward pretty fast.

This is really something particular, you expect to find such a museum in Amsterdam instead in Paris, but when entering you will be amazed. This museum is all about eroticism, from toys back in the ancient, to paintings, books, etc... There's a permanent exibition that goes from Sacred Art, Brothel, Contemporary Art, to Popular Art. The exibition takes place on 7 floors and there's really a lot to see at a really cheap price. Must say tho that there are some really explicit pictures and video that you might not like.

Here's something you will find inside the museum: Egyptian antiquities Greek, Etruscan, and Roman Islamic art Near Eastern antiquities Paintings Prints and drawings Sculptures The whole Louvre collection has about 35,000 pieces shown on over 60,000 square metres. The Louvre structure has been originated as a fortress and as well as a residence under the reign of Philip II. Louvre has been opened to public only after the French Revolution, at that time it was intended as a symbol of the progress of Freedom.

This fantastic Basilica has been built with travertine stone quarried in Château-Landon (Seine-et-Marne), this kind of stone constantly exudes calcite which makes sure that the building remains of a bright white color. Sacre Coeur host a large, made of four manuals and pedals, 90 speaking stops, and great organ. Back in year 1873 the city council has approved to start building constructions in Montmartre for the Basilica construction. Paul Abadie was the architect of the basilica after winning the competition between over 77 other architects. The foundation stone was laid on June 16, 1875.
