About Us!

Sheena and I and our two sons originated in England where we lived on the East coast prior to moving to Canada in 1998. We traded in grey, rainy and windy weather for beautiful, cold, snowy but bright days in Ontario. Three years ago we left the snow behind and migrated south to Charlotte, North Carolina. Winter coats were left behind and exchaged for t shirts and shorts. No matter where we live, we love to travel and explore what our adopted country has to offer. England was a great gateway into Europe. Canada is just a stunningly beautiful country and now the US offers the opportunity to explore this vast and varied land. We ski, we hike, we lie on the beach, we explore towns and cities - it doesn't matter what the climate or where we are. There is so much to see - the question is where next ?

Hi Chris I presume that the wedding has taken place by now? If so, how did it go? Markus is (reluctantly) in Kazakhstan on business so I'm holding the fort and I'm about to head off to France in business, so things even crazier than usual! Regards Cathy
