We have been visiting Livigno for the past few years around the February / March period. It may seem sad to return to the same place so regularly however Livigno has everything for a great ski holiday and cheap!

We travelled from the UK via Ryanair and have transfered to the resort by hire car. The transfer is approx 3.5 hours however once there its well worth it. Livigno is a tax free resort (special EU dispensation) and is fantastic skiing. Food is exceptional and the free bus service allows you to move around town and the slopes exceptionally easily.

Why not visit the Funpark on the Motellino side of the mountain. If you are a good skier (or above) and have the relevant safety equipment this place if for you. Dont forget to take your camera as there are sure to be some hilarious moments to capture!

Thre is some great apres ski in Livigno, dont forget to try a few Bombadinos either at lunchtime or at the end of a hard day on the slopes. Food is excellent and have not had a bad meal there and not spent alot of money doing so.
