I love photographing buildings, angles, patterns, lines, spaces between buildings, rows of things be they man made or natural.......I promise to get therapy.
Here's picture of fish at the Sydney Fish Markets November 2006.
Sydney Fish Markets is the best place to eat!
I used to have my coffee and pane at this table in Sydney very morning when I was over there on business. What a neat table eh!
My sister Fionna is an artist. She's brilliant, strong, sensitive, passionate, a pain in the bum, but I love her very much. We're 10 year apart, she's the gorgeous dark beauty and I'm the pale, older attachment! This is our sex kitten pose LOL!!
I adore Sydney! I love wandering around by myself. My ritual is to always have a dozen oysters and a glass of chilled white wine in that little place near the Opera House overlooking the harbour, the Bridge and the ferries. I am always armed with a camera.
I take pictures of anything which speaks to me.
This picture was taken in the underground whilst waiting for a train to Central.
I love the angles.
I was walking from Glebe Point Road in Sydney down to the Fish Markets. I cut along a short cut which is fairly steep and came face to face with this old building. It stood out in all it's pointy grandeur so I sat on the ground a snapped it.
The side of the building showed four separate sorts of bricks through the stucco. Old 'convict brick' as I call it, sandstone, old house bricks and new house bricks. Exquisite!
When I visit Sydney I like to 'look but don't touch' Luna Park.
The face has always scared me ( a bit like clowns scare some people).
I have seen it many times but have never gone in.
Weird eh!

These guys were playing the Didgeridoo down at Circular Quay, they were brilliant, humorous and very talented indeed. One of the songs they played was about the birds waking up as the sun crept into the darkness. lighting up the bush and warming the lizards blood, making the red earth wabble in the heat. It reminded me of Rolf Harris. I remember as a small girl - Rolf was the first Australian I had ever heard speak 'like that', a soft, gentle twang which wrapped around words and curled them up at the ends. I lived in Sussex UK at the time and knew, even then that I needed to visit that strange land down under. I am proud to say I became a Citizen 5 years ago after having lived here for 18 years. I truly love this land.
