Ramada Hong Kong: Got a super deal @ Ramada Hong Kong Review

Back again in Hong Kong after 4 weeks i Australia I found a great deal on Ramada hotel on wotif.com (450-500 hkd p night). My stay was in October which help when I arrived late and found my way walking to the hotel from the MTR closest station, big misstake

Hotel is located a bit of when walking with luggage otherwise its fine and a the closeness to the dried food market gives an "more autentic feel" to H/K (if thats what u want).

Anyways arrived late got upgraded to a suite due to lack of rooms :)

Enjoyed my stay and would go back if I find similar good price deal, a little far away if u travel first time to Hong Kong, for others very nice

Unique Qualities: Had a view but again to far from "downtown" to get any great views but big cealing to floor window had a great effect as you could look down from 27th floor..

a small bar/nightclub
resturant which i didnt try
internet ofc..
close to convience stores and good selection for tv channels (not great but good)
and the roomservice very good price and effective

Charterhouse hotel: Wanchai The Charterhouse Review

I had a great stay here during Chinese New year 2007 with friendly staff, the few times i needed them. always happy and eager to help. The hotel iself has to be good value considering how nice it is was with the renovating all done now.

my room on 11th floor facing away from traffic quiet and clean and rather big (about 12-14 sqm + bath and a small hallway in the room.

downside beds kind of short 180 cm but not a real problem :)

will go back and I recommend this hotel for people that likes a clean decent price hotel

Unique Qualities: The view from the back of the hotel is not spectacular but not bad either, in the basement a decent size gym and also a bar and resturant in the hotel.

location is good and easy to get back and from to anywhere u need to go and with 24/7 store 2 minutes from the hotel

Directions: Central Wanhai located just minutes walk from the airport busses and about 5 min walk from MTR and Star ferry (Wanchai terminal)
