I usually stay in the Marriott in Zamalek but was looking for a cheaper option this time. I had heard of the Flamenco and decided to try it out. It is very popular among the NGO International community because of its excellent price/quality ratio. There are few good mid- range hotels in Cairo and few good hotels that are not tourist traps. This is one. The service is excellent, the food above average, the rooms and restaurants original. I like this place. A great home away from home. They now also have wireless access. Ask for a room overlooking the Nile. It is a bit more expensive ($80 including tax) but worthwhile.
