I found the staff at the front desk at check in slightly rude. They seemed irritated that we were there early. The bell desk staff was great and helpful. The garden café was slow any time even when there weren’t many people at all. Security staff and cage staff was great and helpful as well.
My biggest problem was the extra charge. There is some sort of resort fee. We didn’t knew or read anything about it until we checked in. The fee was $5 then they added a TAX to that. I never knew what exactly this fee was for until I asked, it wasn’t wrote down anywhere and I read everything in the room. A little sign in the bathroom read that a room fee would cover pool services even though it wasn’t the season for the pool. The outside was closed. Inside looked unkept and no staff at all, like the gambling table in pool to make it funwas closed.
Then when I asked at check out about the fee I found out it also covered all the local calls from the room, fax service and some other things like that. If I had known that I probably would have used the phone in room instead of my cell. I just think we should be told about fees and what all they include, basically what we are paying for, when making the reservation. It makes for a better vacation when you know what you have paid for and have access to. Their response was "other hotels on the strip charge alot more for their resort fee". Which did not address my complaint at all.
The walls and ceiling in this hotel are EXTREMELY THIN. We could easily hear someone talking (not yelling) on the phone. It really was bad, been in dive motels with thicker walls. Pretty sad for a Las Vegas hotel. The hotel needs renovating.
We will NOT be staying here again.
