The "Peg" in February
Okay....it was a business trip and I thought I must have done something to irritate my bosses to deserve a trip to Winnipeg in February. As a pleasant surprise I found that the city was quite alive.
Yes it was pretty cold outside and the corner of Portage and Main is truly breezy, but the people I met were a warm, friendly and hardy bunch which really helped me forget it was 40 below.
