Restaurant Name: Caffe Florian
Okay, you will pay through the nose for coffee or dessert (or anything else) at this place, but it is a beautiful and historic café right on San Marco, and the coffee isn't bad either! Also, despite the popularity of the place, we were not rushed out, and were allowed to sit over our cappuccinos as long as we wanted.

Restaurant Name: All' Antico Pizzo
While having a glass of wine in a little Bacaro, we asked the bartender for a restaurant recommendation. When he mentioned All' Antico Pizzo, we quickly replied that we didn't want pizza, we wanted pasta. He repeated the name and told us 'no pizza'. Well, we were glad to see this sign on the window of the restaurant when we found it! We all had great pasta dishes here, in a warm, but not fancy, environment.
