A large Village or a small Town

Malakal is a sleepy village located on the banks of White Nile. It is administered by the Govt Of South Sudan. After the place witnesed some serious clashes in Nov 2006 the place is relatively calm now. Most of travellers are UN staff or NGOs from various parts of the world. In rainy season the roads and tracks can get muddy.
