I've been living in the very centre of Brussels since September 2003, and I still have mixed feelings about our capital. In the first year I really hated living here because I'm really not a city person and Brussels is not the cleanest city in the world (euphemism!!). Passing by the fragrance of fresh urine on your way to work is not an exception.
But: Over the years I have come to appreciate the nice parts of Brussels also. You do have a large offer of culture here, the choice of restaurants and bars is inexhaustable and there are some really nice areas in the city and outside the city.

I especially enjoyed your restaurant tips. I see you are a big fan of Asian food too (influenced by your wife no doubt ;)) I have only eaten Vietnamese once in Barcelona, but I love GOOD Chinese (not fast food), Thai and Japanese food :)
You must be the most favorite client of that Vietnamese restaurant's owner. You have a friendly face and warm heart. The boss should thank you for your tip.
