Best defended campground in Denmark and other Christiansø, Denmark Hotel/Accommodation Reviews

"Hertugindens bastion" is a very small campground and there is only space for about 20 tents so you need to make a reservation good time in advance.
My friend and I were fortunate enough to have a place for my little tunnel tent last summer. We stayed one night and had a great time.

Unique Qualities: The campground is an old bastion, and there's a big old stone wall around it. You're not allowed to climb on the wall, but if you go to the other side there's a beautiful view to the Baltic sea.
At the campground theres a little kitchen you can use with a stove and fridge, and theres a toilet, shower and wash room a few minutes walk in direction west.

Unique Qualities: There's a very good view to the harbour and Frederiksø.
In the high season (1 June to 1 Sep) a dobble room cost 900 DKR and a single room 800 DKR - otherwise the prices is 100 DKR less.
In 2 of the rooms they can make 2 extra beds.
The hotel is closed in the period 24 December to 6 February.

If you plan a trip to Christiansø and want to stay overnight at the hotel you have to book your room very good time in advance.
