Sydney is not only the city were the first European fleet was landed in 1788 under the leading of Captain James Cook, its now a days one of the most vibrant city of Australia. It's a mixed city of a shopping, business, politician and tourist centre. For a big place like Sydney it is amazing that it as such a peaceful city. You find everything you need in this place, from the crowds nightclubs and pubs to the quietest gardens of rest in the middle of the city. The Sydney Harbour Bridge, the Opera House and the Darling Harbour are a must for every visitor. There is so much to see for visitors that you can spend weeks and a lots of $$$$$$$ here. Like every tourist city it is also not a very cheap place. So, this page is not a complete Sydney Guide, but it shows only what I have visited there and I think its not even half of what they offer. It's also what your interests are that is going to affect what you decide to visit and what not. I love to visit Sydney for a couple of days but I would never want to live here. There are nicer places in Australia that attracts me more to do that. For me it is a nice place to fly in Australia, stay a couple of days, travelling further and visit again a couple of days when I am leaving back to home... |
