We were two graduate students travelling to visit collaborators at the university. The hotel was very impressive. Rooms were clean and modern, breakfast buffet had lots of delicious choices, and there was even a tray of complimentary gummi bears at the reception desk. The free amenities there are very nice, though anything which is not free is going to be rather overpriced (we were charged 6 euro for a bottle of water!). If you just live within the generous free amenities though, you can live very comfortably there. Staff is friendly, but they frequently were busy hosting parties which made the lobby slightly unwelcoming at times. And unfortunately if you want internet, you're going to be spending a lot of time in the lobby since that's where the wireless is. The wall-mounted internet jacks in our room and in the lobby did not work with either of our computers (mac and windows), and it seemed other people were having this problem too.
In any case, stayed 6 nights and other than those acceptable nuisances, we had a very enjoyable time. The hotel is highly recommended.
Unique Qualities: As others have said, the showers in the rooms are rather peculiar since they have a full-length window along the side. Anyone in the bedroom will fully see the showerer in full. This didn't bother us, but could be a problem for pairs that are less comfortable with each other. The shower is quite spacious to boot!
