Brisas del Estado Sucre: Wonderful view

Since Mochima is the land of views, my restaurant pics are both based on food and view. And both are great here.

Located on a peninsula you can see directly into the water at coral and fish swimming far below. The rest of the view is uninhabited park. How often have you eaten at a place like that? Yeah, these are the type of views they hang on the wall in other restaurants.

Favorite Dish: I guess my favorite would be the fried Lamparosa(fish) but all their seafood and chicken dishes are excellent.

Address: 1/2 way between Santa Cruz and Santa Fe on HWY 9

Comparison: about average

Directions: It can be easy to miss. It's just a small turnout that nobody would think much about because you can't really see the view until you enter. Look for the sign painted on the building. Restaurant Brisas Del Estado Sucre

Ventana del Real y Medio: View from Los Altos

Very good food. They have lots of typical dishes and VERY rare homemade drinks. I do recommend that you try some. I ask the waiters what they like and haven't been let down yet. Don't miss the view at sunset. It sets right over the islands off Puerto la Cruz and Guanta and is breathtaking.

Favorite Dish: Maybe have a nice Paballon and sit at the edge of the restaurant looking out over the Park. If you're not driving try some of their special rums.

Comparison: more expensive than average

Directions: It's not that far from the turnoff from the main road up Los Altos. If you are going up, it's a few KM and on the right hand side, if you are going down, it's towards the end on the left.

Ask about the ceramic shop nearby. Cool lamps and tiles.
