The different marvels of Barcelona

Much more than Cosmopolitan

Casa Milā (La Pedrera), Barcelona
Barcelona is a city full of positive surprises. A very elegant, cosmopolitan and modern city with a mix of people from all around the world, moving in harmony. It is a city to which I travel frequently for business and obviously my visits are limited to commercial ones. However I have travelled to Barcelona for holidays along with my family in more than an ocasion and I always get to have a different view, due to the radical change in the places I visit. There are innumerable attractions, monuments, architecture, leisure, commercial, shopping and other huge variety of things to see and do. The eating part should not be left out. I love eating well and also trying ne things and there are many chances to do so in Barcelona. A minimum of 3 days would allow you to have a proper peek of the city. Transport connections to move within and outside the city are excellent so go ahead, ahve a great time.
Colourful masterpiece by Miro of the lady and the

Dona i Ocell by Catalan artist Joan Mirķ

The figure you are watching in the picture is a colourful masterpiece of renown Catalan artist Joan Miro called Dona i Ocell, which means lady and bird in Catalan. It is made from artificial stone and decorates with ceramics with other small objects. You will see it at the Parc Joan Mirķ, which is right in the city centre between the Sants Station and Plaza Espaņa.

Language resource

Practically all of us travelling to different places where we face the challange of a new language, we take our notes from different sources to try to solve our initial needs. I have come accross a link which offers free language courses and thinking that it might be of use to all fellow VT friends, here it is

Hope it helps. Please share this with all who can benefit from it.
