Madrid - The capital city Madrid is a city that I freequently visit for work. I have also travelled in the past for holidays as the capital has many attractions to offer and will continue to go there for short breaks apart from my work. I love this place. A very cosmopolitan city with great historical references, modern architecture, great parks, restaurants, shopping and in brief having a great time. It should not be forgotten that Madrid is host to some of the most prestigious musuems in the world like the Prado, Reina Sofia, Thyssen Bornemisza to name some of the most important ones. |
Speak the language Practically all of us travelling to different places where we face the challange of a new language, we take our notes from different sources to try to solve our initial needs. I have come accross a link which offers free language courses and thinking that it might be of use to all fellow VT friends, here it is

Hope it helps. Please share this with all who can benefit from it. |
| | The Royal palace The palacio real is the official residence of the King and Queen of Spain who uses this palace for official ceremonies. They however do not stay here. There are organized tours everyday to visit different areas of the palace and is well worth the tour. |
