"Utiel" Utiel by MaheshSamtani

Utiel is a small city about 70 kilometers from Valencia, on the road that takes you to Madrid. Along with another nearby town, which is Requena, is famous as a wine growing region, normally captioned as Utiel-Requena. The area is normally very splendin in natural bueaty. However this winter ( Jan-Feb 2007 ) has been even more generous with snow adding to the beauty of this area.

In the surrounding areas of Utiel the environment what we will discover is beautiful places without any effort. We will find copious holly-oaks, sabinas and junipers and fountains, zones encamped of monuments, as the sanctuary of the remedy, amidst the heart of the mountains. From the heights we observe landscape contrasts, for the north it will look like to us an Alpine print, whereas for the south of La Mancha landscape of extensive plain where fertile fields sowed with vineyards and almond-trees.
