I was watching the winter olympics that was being held in Turin. The presenter was Sue Barker who said:
"I don't know if you saw his series on Venice last year but Francesco de Mosta is coming back this August for another series."
Then a video was played of Francesco going around Turin showing the shroud, the FIAT building and the streets of Turin. It captivated me, I knew I had to go there it was somewhere different, so I decided I would go. The only problem was that is wasn't in many of the brochures, but I still managed to find it and book it. I went and everything about it was right it feel, the people, the places and the culture. I have vowed I will go back and do it all again. |
