House in Pundak Ginnossar
"Pundak Ginnossar" is right next door to the Nof Ginnossar Hotel, and is also run by the kibbutz. The accomodation is simpler, but the rooms are clean and comfortable. The buildings are former kibbutz houses, small one-storey houses with red tile roofs, remodelled and re-decorated to accomodate tourists. The houses all have lawns around them, an ideal place to stay for a family with [hyper-] active kids.
Your breakfast is served in the Nof Ginnossar hotel restaurant, and you can use all the hotel facilities (beach, swimming pool, sports etc).
Our stay was pleasant, but we found the inn relatively expensive; the room standard is lower than in the hotel, and the price is not that much cheaper.

In Hotel Nof Ginnossar
If you are looking for a good 4-star hotel on the shores of the Sea of Galilee (Lake Kinneret), in a more rural area outside the hustle and bustle of Tiberias, Nof Ginnossar is an excellent choice.
There are overall more than 160 rooms, in several small buildings, in the style common to many kibbutz hotels. The rooms have been re-decorated and upgraded in recent years and are very pleasant and comfortable. There is a restaurant, we only had breakfast there: a rich and wholesome breakfast in the best tradition of Israeli hotels.
There is a private beach, and although the lake has receded somewhat over the last few years it is still a pleasure to swim in the Sea of Galilee, especially on a hot day. The hotel also has a swimming pool, which is rather small.
There is a walking /jogging trail nearby, and for more serious hikers Ginnosar lies close to Mount Arbel's cliffs. Capernaum and other Christian sites are a few kilometers north of Ginnossar. In Kibbutz Ginnossar itself there is a museum (Beit Alon), which, among other exhibits, boasts the remains of a 2000-year old wooden boat from around Jesus' period.
If you prefer somewhat less expensive accomodation, check out the Ginnossar Village Inn (Pundak Ginnossar),
