Getting Started Even though I am more than half-way through my long list of places to visit and experience, I am just beginning to learn how capture these memories and share them with others. Do I go back and try to record all I can remember? Do I start from the most recent trip and carry-on? This is will a learning experience equal to what I have learned on the road over the last few years.
Welcome to all fellow travelers - hope to see you somewhere out there soon! |
July 2007 Just last week I returned from an incredible journey through Eastern Europe. Most of it was unplanned, I plotted my next move using my Rick Steves' travel guide and Eurail schedule. The best spontaneous decision was deciding to head to Poland and saving Hungary for later. Looking back I wish I had stayed in Poland longer and saved Hungary for another trip (and yes, there will be others). Never I have been one to try and cram in as many countries in as short time so that was not my motive. Rather it was a lack of thinking outside my previously conceived plans. |
