Masada is one of the most famous archeological sites in Israel. It feels redundant to write anything about it as most people already know the story, how the Roman soldiers sieged the place around 2000 years ago and how the Jewish rebels committed suicide to avoid being captured alive. The place is now a symbol for some Israelis and at the same time regarded as the root of all evils by others.
Do not forget to look into the houses as well...
