Difficult to drive thru, but there's a lot to do My favorite place is Disneyland. However, if that kid in you is a little more grown up or into faster rides, there are other options. While in southern California, consider taking a trip out to Catalina Island or going to dinner at Medieval Times and watch a jousting tournament. Knotts Berry Farm is okay if you like the bigger amusement parks (I'm personally not a rollercoaster fan). However, I suggest avoiding Universal Studios at all costs. The California version is a waste of time & money. There isn't much to see or do, especially for the kids. You could be done with the entire park in a matter of 4 hours (pending lines aren't very long). If you're new to the Anaheim area, always have a map handy and try to avoid I-110 when possible. Remember that even though the speed limit is 65 mph, Californians rarely do less than 75 mph so stay in the right hand lane! |
