Clanwilliam - Clanwilliam

Clanwilliam is a very nice small town, with old, white houses and many flowers. It was the home, in the 19th century, of Dr. Nortier, who introduced the Rooibos tea to the world. You can visit his house, now a museum, where he lived with his friend the physician and poet Dr.Louis Leipoldt.

Rooibos Museum. Things to Do (1)

Although I don't like Rooibos Tea, I found the visit of the museum interesting:-) more travel advice

Good, oldfashioned hotel in the main street. Good cooking. more travel advice
