The breakwater and corniche adds up to the tranquil image of the place.
They have luxurios hotels & villas . Skyscrapers can also be found within the city center.
It may not have a rapid and massive constructions like Dubai but for sure in few years time it would just be like one of the fastest growing country in the world.
Abu Dhabi is the name of both the capital city of the United Arab Emirates and the largest of the seven Emirates that amke up the country.

Rergional and international cusines are available but pork products are prohibited. ALcohol is available in hotels and certain clubs but nmot elsewhere.
Language
The official alnguage is Arabic but English is widely spoken and understood. Wide range of European languages are spoken within the hospitality industry.
Currency
UAE Dirham is linked to US Dollars at a rate of roughly US1 = Dhs 3.67. Changing currencies can eb done through local banks or foreign exchange outlets.

I really enjoyed your tips about Abu Dhabi. It seems to be a beautiful place with excellent shopping. It looks as though it would be an expensive place to visit. Thanks for that great warning tip.
Hi cielo, great page on abu dhabi and it seems to be a nice place! I nearly got a chance to visit this place a few years ago for a meeting, but my company decided no need to go.
