My hubby is a long time customer of this jewelry shop and so given the chance , we would drop by to say hello to the owner.

The quality of their diamonds and pearls are really great , to add their birth stones. Hubby usually buy my jewelry from here. good price and good quality.

Name of Shop: Suan Lum Night Market

Not yet tired of whole day shopping and craving for more? Suan Lum Night Market offers wide variety of souvenirs, clothes, jewelry, bags, shoes etc. Within the m,arket you can also find small massage parlors offering foot massage to your tired feet.

We bought couple of items from here like glass souvenirs, pillow cases, candle holder etc.

Bargaining skill is definitely needed to get a good price.

Name of Shop: Central World Plaza (former WTC)

Central World Plaza is the former World Trade Center. A newly renovated mall which almost have everything. From designer clothes to electronics, restaurants to home shops, cinema to money changers.

The shop had their soft opening last Sptember. Though some of the stalls were still closed, still alot f shoppers do come and visit the place.

Spacious walkway and eye catching facade.

Isetan is within the building.

A favorite mall of mine:-) aside form the fact that it has my favorite restuarant - Food Loft. They have wide variety of clothes, shoes, home decorations, electronics etc.

They also have Starbucks and Patio at the ground floor.

Taxi is very accessible

Name of Shop: Platinum Mall

Platinum Mall is newly opened store which caters mostly to women's clothings. It is located infront of Amari watergate Hotel along Pratunam Area.

I ddint enjoy my shopping here primarily because some of them are fixed price and most of it are offering the same thing.

Their goods are concentrated more on RTW for women an children.

At the ground floor they have coffee shops and small restaurants. Outside the mall are numerous stalls selling local products.

Name of Shop: Chatuchak Weekend Market

Chatuchak....Who doesnt know Chatuchak? well i guess most of the shopaholics and fashionistas out there know where and what is chatuchak weekend market.

A huge open air market opened only during weekend. it caters to almost anything and everythign you can think of. bags, furnitures, shoes, clothes, souvenirs, pets, food etc etc.

most of the goods that they sell here are unique...you cannot find on other whole sale market.

Just have an eye for those nice and unique pieces :-)

Just one piece of advise..if you see something that you like, bargain..if you agreed on the price dont ever think twice and tell yoursel that i will just go back afterwards. worst scenario is that, you wont find the stall again :-)

So bargain and purchase!

Btw, dot forget to bring a hat or umbrella, eyeglasses and bottled water with you. Also, dont miss your sunscreen for a freckles and wrinkle free shopping!

Planning to by an authentic Louis Vuitton? Gucci? Prada? Hermes? No need to go to Europe! Siam Paragon has it! This mall caters to high end designer label/shops. expect to pay thousand of dollars for a piece of bag esp for their latest designs.

There are also restaurants and coffee shops where you can have snacks or dinner after a tiring day of window shopping LOL

A huge shopping complex that caters to the masses. They have numerous stalls selling bags, perfumes, shoes, clothings, electronics, play station etc.

They have fast food chains,restaurants coffee shops, massage center, money changer, bookstore, pharmacy and of course cinema.

Pratunam Area is known for their whole sale market. They offer a very reasonable price esp if you will purchase on whole sale (6pieces or more depending on the item) basis.

From clothes, shoes, bags, t shirts, souvenirs, home decors, linen etc.

just make sure to bargain before purchasing ( 50% off the asking price)

Name of Shop: Chatuchak

i bought a dozen pairs of this slippers (shown in the photo) the design is really unique and often times being noticed and given credit because of its designs.

This stall is exclusive in chatuchak and ony one stall is selling it. The fitrst time i bought this slippers was year 2004 and fortunatley the stall hasnt closed yet :-) so when i went back last 2006 i bought dozen pairs of these ;-)

199THb but for whole sale it can be reduce to 130THB / pc
