Images of Buddah

During the time when the Burmese Army attacked Ayuthaya they killed lots of people, burned their houses and even invaded the temples burned them and cut the head and arms of the Buddah statues.

Some stories said, the reason why the Burmese Army cut the head and arms of the statue it is because they thought there were gold and hidden treasure inside the body.

Upto now,you can find lots of headless and armless Buddah statues within the complex.
