We stayed at
Club Andaman Beach Resort (Cottage Type) for 2 weeks. They have hotel type of accomodation and the cottage type.The place is relatively big..with 2 swimming pools (closes at 9), restaurants, souvenir shops, Spa, kids play room etc. etc. The only drawback staying in a cottage type of room is the smell of the bamboo materials that they used. Also, the location is sourrounded by trees and plants which made it susceptible and a nice hiding ground for mosquitoes and other insects.
Although they fumigate every other day or if requested, still you will be prone to insect bites. So, prepare your off lotion ;-)
Nevertheless, our stay was good.
Unique Qualities: a. easy access to Patong Beach.
b. Coffee World is just few steps away.
c. Very accessible to malls, cafe's and shops.
d. They have special activities for the kids evryday.Either football or basketball
e. Kids room or play room for toddlers are provided with resort staff who can take care of them.
f. Nice selection of food at their restaurant
