New Life...New Beginning.... It's been awhile since i last updated my homepage..and during this winter months here in Riyadh wherein most of the time i find myself eating, sleeping or just watching tv, i just thought why not update my VT homepage! And so here i am now trying to refresh my old Vt page :-)
Let me start by giving a short look back at 2007...the year that was....
2007 was really the best and the most blessed year for me in terms of family life, travel and personal life...wew! Let me recount those blessings.
a. 2007 was the most traveled year for me (and my husband). We almost traveled every month either out of the country or just to a local destination within the Kingdom.
b. First time i traveled in the US. A dream come true not only for my family but also for my parents who are living in the states for more than 2 decades now.
c. First longest vacation ~ 2 months in the US including first visits to different states like Florida, Washington, New York, Pennsylavania and New Jersey.
d. It was also during the year 2007 where i first travel to Egypt, Bahrain and UAE.
e. A quick visit to Manila last December 2007. The last travel for me for 2007 until the 2nd quarter of 2008.
f. Above all these, the most memorable event in our life that we should be grateful and thankful for, for the year 2007 is the good news that i will be a "MOM" soon! Yes guys..I am 4 months on the way at this time. Me and hubby are both really excited for the coming of this little Angel.
We're hoping and praying that this first preganncy of mine will not be as hard as i thought! Wishing and praying that my baby will be normal and a healthy baby!
Also, im wishing all my vt friends and the Vt community a great 2008. Let there be more travels for us....CHEERS!!!!!!!!!! |

Being a stay home mother and a wife, Updating my Virtual Tourist page, my personal site ~ Multiply and Friendster Account are some of the things thats keeping me busy. Recently, i found a new hobby that is really of my interest. Its creating your own fashion design/clothes. Putting together shoes, clothes, accesories etc to make one excellent outfit. Its really fun and i admit its taking my time (but i love it!)

A Trip Worth Remembering Over and Over Again! This U.S. trip was one fo the best trip my family and I ever had not just because it was our first time to visit the States but more so it was a reunion for us. We spent more than a month in New Jersey and 3 weeks in
Orlando. The fast phase and tiring schedule in Orlando was balanced by a laid back, peaceful and quiet times in New Jersey.
Washington, New York (New York City & Niagara Falls in Buffalo), Pennsylvania and Atlantic City in NJ are all great!
Its really worth travelling for almost a day..seeing the boys having fun and hubby having enough sleep and a relaxed day was really a treat.
We're looking forward to visit NJ in the very near future! WHEN?? Its a top secret! Will tell yah later when we have our tickets :-) | | |
| | My New Home Riyadh, Saudi Arabia is now my new home...Another new thing for me coz this was my first time to move to another place/country for good after 27 long years of living in Manila, Philippines (were i was born and raised). Although there were several things that i need to adjust and accept, still i was able to managed it very well. I guess, that's one advantage of travelling :-) Learning new things & accepting it...discovering new culture and respecting it. Its almsot 5 months since the first time i arrived here in Riyadh and I can say im well adjusted to the culture, people, climate and food. Although there are still a lot of things that i need to know and to experience..im just livign each day with this saying on my mind: One step at a time :0) |
