Munich being a large city there is plenty to see and do. I found it to be busy and friendly. It is ideal to use has a base for seeing Bavaria. I used the train using a daily Bavarian ticket at 21 euro for a single traveller, its use is after 9am till 3am Monday to Friday [ all day Saturday and Sunday]. It is even better value for up to 8 people on a ticket for about just 35 euro. Please check.[it can be used on regional trains and buses] not the ICE trains.
