I travelled from StPetersburg by local train for a one night stopover in Vyborg. After the big city i felt this was nearer the "real russia". The buildings are mainly well kept, but some streets are run down nearly falling down., this adds to the charm of the place.

Another lovely new page of yours. Unfortunately, I only came through Vyborg by train on my way from Helsinki to St. Petersburg. The city seems to be well worth a visit.
