Addison Hotel Tips by starrlot

We are staying over the weekend, so this is a review in progress.

Check-in was easy and quick, and the front desk staff was extremely friendly and informative. The hotel is very clean and nice, it is certainly one of the more upscale La Quinta's. It is located in a very safe business and shopping district of Addison, and only about three minutes from the Dallas Galleria (which is the reason we chose this hotel).

The rooms are average in size and well laid out. The decor is nice, with the exception of the bedding, it is quite tacky to be honest, but that's being picky.

The hotel is warm in the hallways, and the elevator is quite stuffy. Parking is abundant and close to entrances. The rooms are set to be warm (about 75 degrees) when you arrive, but the a/c cools the room down in no time.

Everything is handicapped friendly.

The bathroom is very spacious, although lounging in the bathtub is out of the question, it is big and comfortable enough for a bubble bath at the end of a busy day.

One thing I found a little annoying was the room door. It does not fit the frame and light from the hall leaks in through the space around the door into the room making it impossible to get a completely dark room at night.

The key cards deactivate randomly for no reason at all, this is an annoyance that can be prevented.

The beds are comfortable and maid service was satisfactory. Free wireless internet is included in all the rooms.

The courtyard is nicely shaded with a nice sized pool and hot tub. With so many trees surrounding their pool, I dare say they need to pay a little more attention to clearing the pool of any debris from the trees, but this is being very picky as it was not that bad.

Express checkout was easy and quick. In the end, we will definitely stay here again. This hotel and the Adams Mark are now on our list of faves to stay at when in Dallas.

Unique Qualities: Right down the street from the Galleria, close to hundreds of restaurants.
