The Park of Hungarian-Turkish Friendship

In 1994, by creating this park on the 500th anniversary of Sultan Süleyman's Birth, the Republic of Turkey commemorated one of the greatest politicians of the Turks. In 1997, Turkey also donated a statue of the great opponent, Miklos Zirinyi, thus, now side by side after four centuries, the two excellent generals look over the field of their heroic battle: the fortress of Sziget.
