Where "ride a cowboy, save a horse" happens!

I realize the title make no sense whatsoever but it sounds good and if you really don't think about it too deeply it may actually make sense. Dead Horse Point has long been one of my favorite places to visit as it never fails to inspire awe and wonder. Nothing can match driving up the road to the parking lot at Dead Horse Point with the seemingly endless scenic backdrop on either side of you. Dead Horse Point reminds me of a mini - Grand Canyon but without the crowds. This is a great place to spend a afternoon sitting on a warm red rock and taking in the view with the sun on your face and the images of hundreds of dead horses running through your thoughts!

this is the type of landscape i love. i enjoyed my few hours sitting on a rock in the sun when i went to horseshoe bend.
