Restaurant Name: Provencale
Provencale is located in the part of the Latin Corridor that is jam packed with little restaurants. Like many of the restaurants in the area the offer set menus to compete for your euro. I went with the 15 euro set menu and started out with the Escargot, my first and last experience with snails....not my thing, but worth trying. The main course was Beef Stew, French style, which meant it was a tender chunk of beef, marinated in a broth with carrots and potatoes...truly excellent! For dessert I went with the bowl of fruit though ice cream is what most of the guests seemed to go for. Overall the meal and service was excellent and the price was right!

Restaurant Name: Maison Blanche
Located in the Latin Quarter, part of the tightly packed corridor of restaurants that make the Latin Quarter famous, Maison Blanche offers one of the best set menu's in the district. For 10 euro I was able to have a full meal of Mussels in white wine, pepper steak and french fries, and a chocolate crepe for dessert. The mussels were exceptional, I was expecting a small bowl of mussels and instead was given a big bowl literally overflowing with mussels. The taste was exceptional and as a result I ended up eating here twice on my visit. The pepper steak was very good and the chocolate crepe was as advertised, however it was the mussels and the 10 euro price that make this a great place to eat!
