Rio can be a perfect spot for surfist, Rio is also part of the WORLD SURFING COMPETITION normally held in Barra da Tijuca, but it is very common to surf in the middle of Copacabana Beach moe or less in front of Bolivar Street, close to Copacabana Fortress, in Diabo Beach, next to Arpoador Rock close to Ipanema and in the end of Leblon Beach.

The waves are huge specially when cold fronts come to Rio from Argentina or Uruguay. Rio has a long oceanic coast which makes it perfect for the practice of surf, and we have thousand and thousand of surfers which come from every different part of Brazil searching for the perfect waves!

Attending a football match is a real challenge for us, very funny an exciting...it will be a real adventure but I like doing it...CHECK VERY DEARLY what time the match will be and be at the stadium about 3 hours before the game starts, it is the time when you can pick up a very strategic place to park the car because if the car is parked in the street we will have a serious risk to have our stereo stolen, there is also a possibility for you to go to the stadium using public transportation which will be something ABSOLUTELY LOCAL to do, and with me there will be no problem at all, I am pretty used to go to the stadium and MARACANA is the TEMPLE of our brazilian SOCCER.

You might get the tickets in the surrounding streets of Maracana and the tickets might be costing 50 reais which is about 25 american dollars, and the hunting for a ticket could be more exciting than a FBI operation, hahahaha :)
