Getting TO/AROUND: Coming from London, we find the best and cheapest way to get to Traben-Trarbach is to book a flight through www.ryanair.com. The flights can be really cheap! We flew in early December 2006 and we managed to get return flights from stansted to Traben-Trarbach for £13 return trip each. Once you land at Frankfurt Hahn, you can either take a shuttle bus that operates every 2 hours or catch a taxi. We paid €27.50 and it took 5 of us 15-20mins to get to Traben-Trarbach.
One warning though. If you catch a cab from T-T to Hahn, be careful - it cost us €47.50. I am not sure why this is. You also have the option to hire a car from Hahn for 4 days for around €100. This is really worth it because you can explore the mosel valley more so.
