My trip to Ireland was one of the most cheerful trips abroad I have ever had...The most impressive were by far the windswept, rough and majestic Aran Islands...I visited that area in November, outside the tourist season, so the islands were pretty much devoid of people...What an experience!
Normally, I like meeting new people and the Irish are generally "cosmically" friendly and chatty folks, whose company I enjoyed very much. Yet, I also love nature/the great outdoors and Aran Islands gave me that perfect feeling of being close to nature without the presence of too many human beings...
What else did I like? Dublin, drinking Baileys, pubs etc. etc. etc. |
