I visited the Greek island of Crete in 2005.
What can I say?
I totally fell for It!
What is amazing about Crete is that there is such a huge variety of landscapes on a relatively small piece of land.
There is emerald sea, rocky and sandy beaches, but also impressive mountains. Small, picturesque villages and bustling towns. Places populated by tourist but also some locations off the beaten path which simply took my breath away. |

|  | I will try to share my tips and impressions about Crete as well as post some pictures. All the photos here, as well as on my other VT pages have been taken by myself, they might not be perfect - I'm not a professional photographer after all, yet they have a sentimental value to me.
I do hope that I'll have another opportunity to visit Crete again. And maybe again... |
