Hue is a great place. It’s very laid back, no traffic, terrific sites and food that is second to none. The only problem is it rains more often than not. I spent three and half days here and it rained three days. That being said you should take the chance and visit this gem of a city, but expect rain. Rain gear is fairly easy to acquire on the streets for a dollar or two, so no need to prepare anything extra special for a trip here. |

dancinbudgie Fri Nov 14, 2008 01:20 UTC Hey there Count....how are you? Nice page...am headed to Vietnam in march...yay! | dubweiser Thu Mar 6, 2008 10:29 UTC I was in Hue this past week myself. Lucky the weather was cool. Coincidently, I got myself a pack of Vietnamese Sesame Pringkled Gum too! And obviously, mine is more "Dac Biet". The rain is definately not a problem as I live in the Pacific Northwest United States and rain is a way of life. But it is very green and pretty here because of it. Joyce |
