I kind of gaffed when I went to Taiwan. In all honest I didn’t want to go and had planned on going to Hong Kong. When plans fell through my only options were to say home or go to Taiwan. I chose Taiwan but didn’t really do any research before I left. I spent a week there and saw some cool things, but in the end was quite unsatisfied. I could have done more, seen more, gone more places and eaten in better restaurants. Oh well, live and learn.

I’m not sure I’ll ever go back. Something about Taiwan just didn’t resonate with me. I think I would only return if I had to for business.
