San Francisco Hotel Tips by xxsentiaxx

The Inn at the Opera is an above average hotel in a convenient location. It's a on the pricey side but I think that's because of the location. The hotel is located right near the opera house which is important if you like that kind of thing and lots of expensive restaurants. It's also just a 10 minute walk to the BART station. I didn't feel very comfortable walking about at night seeing as how it's near the infamous Tenderloin area but during the day and in the early morning hours I felt completely safe. The staff at the hotel were awesome, very accomodating and friendly. The only thing that i did not like about this hotel was that you had to pay $10.00 a day for internet service.

The York Hotel is located just a few short blocks away from Union Square. The staff was nice enough though I didn't really need to ask for anything. The complimentary breakfast in the morning was good and they changed the selection every day that i stayed there. The room was clean and pretty good sized and it had a HUGE walk-in closet. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone that doesn't want to pay a lot of money to stay right on Powell St.

This hotel was great. It didn't cost much more than the average hotel in this city and the location is perfect. It's located right on Powell Street which means right in the heart of the shopping district. It's also just a few short blocks from the BART station. The room was average sized and clean and the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. I also liked the fact that high-speed internet was free in my room.
