A fascinating country

by adelsayedebeid - last update: Dec 15, 2006

Istanbul, wow!

A must see!
I've been to this most charming city twice in a row; July 2005 and again july 2006. I'm really looking forward to going back again. Just love it!
Great monumnets, very rich cuisine, and last, but not least, the people.

My favourite places in Istanbul.

1) The following mosques:

* The Blue Mosque.
* The Sulmanyeh Mosque.
* Rustum Pasha 's Mosque.
* The New Mosque.

2) Aya Sofia.
3) The Grand Bazaar and the " Egyptian Baazar. By the way, once in the Grand Bazaar, don't miss to have a stop at "Ay Cafe" it's great, especially the decorations.
4) A cruise on the Bosforus, if possible stop at Saryer, a charming little village where good fish is served at reasonable prices.
5) Isteklal street and surroundings, absolutely great, especially on Saturday nights.

Don't miss out in Turkey

Bursa: the Grand Mosque.

Antalya: the old town, and a sailing cruise.

Capadocia: unbelievable
