Istanbul, wow! A must see!
I've been to this most charming city twice in a row; July 2005 and again july 2006. I'm really looking forward to going back again. Just love it!
Great monumnets, very rich cuisine, and last, but not least, the people. |
My favourite places in Istanbul. 1) The following mosques:
* The Blue Mosque.
* The Sulmanyeh Mosque.
* Rustum Pasha 's Mosque.
* The New Mosque.
2) Aya Sofia.
3) The Grand Bazaar and the " Egyptian Baazar. By the way, once in the Grand Bazaar, don't miss to have a stop at "Ay Cafe" it's great, especially the decorations.
4) A cruise on the Bosforus, if possible stop at Saryer, a charming little village where good fish is served at reasonable prices.
5) Isteklal street and surroundings, absolutely great, especially on Saturday nights. |
Don't miss out in Turkey Bursa: the Grand Mosque.
Antalya: the old town, and a sailing cruise.
